He later earned his Exceptional Student Education (ESE) teaching certificate through the Hillsborough County Alternative Certification Program, and shortly after, his master’s degree in Educational Leadership from NOVA Southeastern University. leader while empowering students to become self-sufficient shareholders in society and in their school community. The desire to make a change in a child's life and give back to his community which supported him throughout his life is the driving force behind his decision to enter the field of education. Mr. Salters has been given the nickname “Joe Clark” from the famous movie Lean On Me, because he is strict but fair and always has the best interest of his students at heart.
